    Fans of H&H

Do all of the H &H blends come in tins? I've only tried three so far and really like the tin art.

    Your Least Favorite Tobacco

This is easy - SG 1792 Flake. Nastiest stuff I've ever tasted. This review from the TR site sums it up perfectly; ...This stuff is as foul as anything I have ever encountered. It should have been named, "Smell My Finger". ?

Not the Mac B. stuff...I mean Russ's bends. Anyone like to cellar these blends and how many do have of what??? I just branched out and discovered this line - pretty good.

    Dating SPC Tins?

Figured it out - the older tins have the larger pic on the front and the legend on the back.

    Dating SPC Tins?

Does anyone have any idea how to date Seattle Pipe Club (cardboard) factory tins? I have some with a few years on them and recently bought a couple new ones and mindlessly put them all into a new bin. Now, can't tell which are which. And, no - did not think to sharpie the date on the bottom...

New Savinelli Roma 623 Bent Bulldog Pipe.

Good looking Bulldog! Those and Authors are great smokers, don't get hot easily and are way comfortable in the hand. Nice vest!

Another Desert Island Thread Is Due.....

With all the amazing choices out there...what is really good, but can be tolerated daily for Heaven knows how long??? I'd go for good ole' Dunhill 965. It's gone, you say...well the chest has been there for at least a little while! BTW - who the hell said no coffee? ?

So is US Pipe Smoking on the Rise... Or Decline?

My measly 2c says that the increase in forum members is due to consolidation. With the demise of so many small B&M pipe and cigar shops, we are looking for camaraderie and sharing of knowledge with other enthusiasts. I see where the decorum in online forums is MUCH more friendly and helpful...

Jim's Sutliff Cringle Flake Holiday Edition 2019 Review.

Thanks Jim. Great, helpful review. Your description of the sweet/sour that is experienced is exactly the kind of sizzle that makes one want to go out and stock up! Another one well done!

Tobacco Tastes the Same as Cigarettes

Some / many OTC aromatics have a good amount of casing and PG (propylene glycol) added. These are really hard/damn near impossible to dry. Like everyone else likely does, I fried the crapola out of my tongue looking for that cherry, vanilla or whatever taste I could smell from the opened tin...

    Peterson P-Lip

I am sure this has come up at some point - could not find anything so... IYHO, is the P-Lip effective and do you like it? The like it part is for Peterson pipe enthusiasts, of course!

Will I Hate The Tobaccos I Bought - Latakia Is In Them

Like others have said, you will probably be quite please with your choices. Good selections by the way. No bad ones there! English blends with Latakia usually have no bite and are pretty smooth. Wide variety of tastes with the difference in blends. Hang in there if they seem odd at first!
