    Skunk Cigar?

Typically, non-Cubans are very consistent, unless they are 'aged'. With Cuban cigars - ANY Cuban cigars, it's a toss-up. I love good CC's, but have had dog-rockets in almost all brands. With NC's, aging can do good or can ruin an otherwise decent stick. Some are great and others will get...

What Is Your Favorite Cigar Brand?

Usually, LFD - particularly the Chapter I & Chapter II. Lately, I'm liking the offerings from Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust. Haven't run into one of theirs that was not nuts-on exceptional!!!

    TAD / Time of Year.

EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title - Bob This is sure a great time of year to stock up on tins! A few of the premier suppliers are offering great deals, with some having buy two-get one free. I'm closing on the 100 mark rapidly. Not a lot, I know, but should last a while.

    Broken Heart...

Two amazing McClelland's tat come to mind are Old Dog and Scottish Woods. Not a lot of Scottish blends out there. Actually, 965 is a very different animal, but still scratches that itch. Yep - aware of the asinine FDA dark cloud. As a cigar person, it has had an impact there as well...

    Broken Heart...

I've been away from the beloved briars and cobs for a while and have just recently seen the light and returned. I am deeply saddened to see that McClelland is no more and some Dunhills are extinct as well. I see that Peterson has picked up most, but not all of the Dunhill line - fortunately...

What Did You Smoke Today? Cigars.

Attended a Drew Estates event in North Port, FL tonite that featured a steak dinner with nice trimmings! Early on enjoyed a HU Mag 50 with an Undercrown Maduro Corona Viva after dinner and nice scotch accompaniment. Overall, a great evening!

    Dead Tastebuds

another thing to try is opening the tin and then closing in in a sealed baggie for a month or two - give it time to 'mellow'. I had that happen with a freshly opened tin of 965 - bit me like a rabid dog. A month later and that pit bull was a little lap dog - nice and cool. 965 is my favorite...
