Any Try Pappy Van Winkle?
Pappy is really quite good with few equals. But - value for what you get is not as good as some other single barrel and small batch bourbons. Sterilizing a pipe
Buy a bottle of 151 rum - good, high alcohol content, sterilizes and sweetens the pipe very well. Been using it for quite a while and works wonders. Helluva lot less expensive than everclear or commercial sweetners and lasts a looooong time! bb- badbriar

Little bit of a let down this weekend
That pipe is just in Ned of some TLC. Much worse have been restored to better than new. Keep it and refurbish yourself. Excellent wat to learn. Look on the Dr Grabow Collectors Forum site for info. B&M over Internet
Like the other FL member above, I buy from the local B & M supplies and cigars. Pipe tobacco, I buy online due to the obscenely high tax in this state on pipe tobaccos.
