Be interested to hear if it has anything written on the stem when you get itI had no competition for this nice little Orlik. It's near impossible to see from the photos but the "Orlik" is written in script.

Most often, but not always, Dunhill would add a additional stamp, an ‘EX’ to signify it was an “Exchange” pipe on a factory warranty replacement pipe.I did not realize it could mean that! Would it also have some other 'code' stamped into it if it was repaired or replaced?
Search me. Not too often I guess. This was interesting to me because of the case. How often did/do Dunhills come in cases?
You mean like, pat you down? I guess if you insist… I really hope that that’s just an LB in your pocket.Search me. Not too often I guess.
I own a ( bone vent. shaped case ) set of two 1952 patent h graded DR's .
The best and oddest grain I've seen on any pipe so far.
Bought them for a song from a Belgian seller who knew nothing about pipes.
Would like to learn from the Dunhill experts about the cases.
Why do you have to tempt me twice? Not cool. Not an Ebay auction but a seller has this 9BC available elsewhere, PM me for details.
