    What's your 2025 Lazarus blend?

This is my first real loss, too. I had a pipe during the McClelland years, but I didn't know anything besides bulk Lane until after McC closed their doors. Atlanta has three hundred cigar shops, and it's always been hard to find a tin. It's hard to lose the Sutliff Match line. I just started...

    What's your 2025 Lazarus blend?

WhiteKnight and Ten to Midnight. I enjoyed pretty much everything from the Hearth and Home line. I’ll be very interested to see if Russ Ouellette starts any new projects.

***What Are You Smoking, December 2025?***

First light with Kramer's Blend for Cary Grant. Not bad, but nothing spectacular. Reminds me a lot of Lane HGL. 2022 Savinelli Christmas 673

    Why are estate pipes ok?

LOL. This thread is gold. I have seven estate pipes, and one of my favorite eBay sellers is deadmanspipes. My second pipe was an estate pipe, and it weirded me out at first. But dammit, I needed that terracotta Peterson Sherlock Mycroft, so I bought it. If I can taste the ghost from owners...

    Cost of your hoards

No, because I didn't by to save money. I bought because blends vanish, and now most of my stash is discontinued.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2025?***

Well, it was Arango Balkan Supreme, but I lit it on fire. ☹️

***What Are You Smoking, November 2025?***

Epiphany in a Forever'd Cob. This jar is a few years old, and I thought the grapefruit (or whatever) topping on the Epiphany was gone, but I noticed it in the aftertaste. I won't re-up this jar, but it's nice to have whilst cleaning up the garage.

Did Thanksgiving Day Sell Out Already?

I thought it would launch when the store opened at 9:00 EST. I remembered about it at 9:40 AM, and it was gone.

What Kind Of Pipe Purchaser Are You?

I buy pipes in fits and starts, mostly when I am avoiding work. Nothing is really speaking to me at the moment. But I am at the point in my pipe-buying journey where I thought about adding a Sherlock Holmes Lestrade to my collection, only to realize I already had a Sherlock Holmes Lestrade in...

November is fast approaching anyone excited to try and nab thanksgiving day by L.J peretti?

I'll probably go for it. I haven't tried it yet. I have Peretti's Century and Midnight, and I won't be re-upping either of those on this order. I am very interested in Royal and maybe 9575. Suggestions welcome.

Different pipes for different tobaccos, Myth?

Like everything, it depends. For me, in general, it doesn't matter which blend I drop in which bowl. However, for English blends, I tend to like a wider bowl where I have more surface area lit. I like a deeper bowl with blends that respond well to changes in temperature, like KBV and Country...
