They are not. There isn't any way to tell who the carver was. He was "supervising" the production and he taught a lot of the best Danish carvers, but no way to know if an individual pipe was made by him. -

Ready Right Out Of The Tin
I have also turned to drying my tobacco before smoking...usually several hours worth of drying time. I feel it makes a much better smoke, but one needs to adjust the pack and smoking cadence or it'll burn fast and hot. Once I got used to smoking dry tobacco I can hardly stand to smoke any...- mlaug

I have a Tundra in the 320 shape. Its a fine smoker and the author style is a nice looking pipe. I tossed the filter ring and never looked back. -

Beeswax
For using it to tighten a stem, just rub the wax on the stem and push it into the pipe. It usually doesn't take a lot of wax to tighten it up.- mlaug

Will 2012 Flash Drought & Heat Wave Affect Pipe Smokers?
As an Iowa farmer, I can attest that this is an enormous understatement. We had .9 inches of rain in May, 1.2 inches in June, and .3 so far in July.
