Kevin,

It's amazing how the weather affects most everything we come in contact with be it food, shelter, even our hobby. Thanks for the info, I'm sure the cob smokers will be scrambling to scoop up any of the larger pipes seeing that production will be cut in half for that size. Hopefully we won't have a repeat of this drought next year and that some relief will be upon us soon.

No problem...I hear they are making pipes out of some kind of tree root.
It sounds promising. :P
(not a cob smoker)

I'll post again so my smart ass post can remain logic free.
Here in Iowa we finally got some rain, but it is too late for almost everything except soybeans. Its going to be a crazy year ahead for commodity markets as they adjust to a shaky world economy, increased demand, and tight supplies.
Most people have no idea how closely their families expenses are tied to a successful agriculture season.

I’m happy now that I just ordered and received several Generals, the taller of MM’s

pipes. They should last me a while and the shorter pipes will be available. I hope

next years crop has a good go.

Gotta love that Mlaug humor.

Lucky for me I have enough corncob pipes to last 10 men several lifetimes.

Probably need to stock up on hard red winter wheat though.
