    Looking for a new tobacco

    June 11, 1983.....

I married my sweetie. Twenty nine years ago today. Lord, but we looked like kids. I guess we were kids. :laughat: Check out my 80's hair! We went on our honeymoon and I took this ol' Ben Wade Golden Walnut along on the trip. This is the sign of a hardcore piper...when you remember what...

    Micoli ????

They are collectible and there are buyers on Ebay for his pipes. The estate market is pretty much the only source.

    Looking for a new tobacco

Try some of the cheap and common over the counter blends such as Prince Albert, Carter Hall, etc. Lots of pipers use those old standby blends.

    Wessex Gold Virginia Flake

I have to say, this stuff is wonderful. :worship: I've almost finished my tin in the two weeks since I received it. That has to be some kind of record for me. I smoke a lot of VAs, especially in the summer time, and I am ordering some more of this ASAP. It was a nice discovery. Anyone...

    Esoterica Blackpool review.

I have tried several Esoterica blends, slowly working my way towards Hobie's goal. They are all very good, but something Phil said reminded me of a characteristic of the brand...to me, the flavor profile never changes throughout the bowl. This has been true for all the different blends I've...

    Dunhill drops price.

If your family was like mine in the 1930s....no one had enough cash to by a gross of anything, let alone speculate on pipes. I wonder if the price drop was a reflection of the broader market decline in the mid-1930s?
