For me it's Bill Bailey’s Balkan Blend. Unlike other Balkan blends, this one burned the inside of my mouth. Almost seemed like a chemical reaction or something. After about 3 bowls I just gave up. I don't smoke Balkans much anymore but I used to enjoy several of them. This one supposedly contains 40% latakia so maybe that was the problem.

Aromatics or any flavored tobacco for that matter. Just can not deal with the after taste.

I already posted holiday blends with flavorings that induce tongue and gum bite and chemical burn. I'd add many aromatics that are not tobacco forward, especially those with food flavors. I enjoy the occasional vanilla blend, but mostly stick with rum, bourbon, and liqueurs and similar. The licorice in Mixture No. 79, the molasses in Granger, and the plum in Royal Yacht seem to do okay for me. I do favor non-aromatic blends.
