One of my favorite pipes this year wasn't exactly a PAD, but was the pipe I won in the pipesmagazine caption contest, a classy Sav straight blast apple. I think I bought about five others -- I'm afraid to count. The latest this week, a Stanwell straight bulldog shape 32 in smooth, for about half what I paid for its stablemate, the same pipe in Silke Brune. This is only the second pipe of the same shape by the same manufacturer; the other are my Peterson bent brandy B11's, bought four or five years ago. My smooth 32 should wrap it up for this year. I'd like to put away the credit card and get to know the whole collection better. Some of them are getting especially good with time.

I didn't buy too many pipes this year.
I used a gift certificate to SmokingPipes to buy an Icarus 1/8 bent light stained corduroy finished volcano
At the West Coast Show I added:
A Don Warren 1/4 bent acorn made of maple wood accented with a deer antler band
A Phil Rivara Clovat (Cutty/Lovat hybrid) with a brass band
A Briarworks Bambino straight Dublin ebony stain corduroy finish
A Dagner Custom Pipes El Dagner Ball-Dog
I was more focused on TAD this year.

Thankyou Mr Deal
but that [sandblasted] Neerup Classic is something special
and it smokes like a dream which is why I have been waiting to find another pipe by Neerup that spoke to me enough for me to open my wallet (or credit card as it works nowdays).
I was very close to picking up this one but decided it was a little short for me. Still available at The Danish Pipe Shop for anyone that wants it (and yes it is one of those 9mm filter pipes)

Well ...
Since I only began taking my pipe smoking seriously a few months ago, and only owned 1 pipe before that, I'd say 2015 has been my worst PAD year to date
Had 1 pipe at the start of the year ... now have 13 total ... 7 MM cobs on the way right now.
That means I will finish the year with 20 pipes.
That's a 1900% increase in total number of pipes owned this year :nana:
