***What Are You Smoking, February 2025?***

Just another Hallmark holiday. Sorry, but why do women fall for that crap ? Smoking Cairo in a Castle Briars.

2017 CRF in a Wiley. Still has a bit of an edge to it. Might take another 5-10 years. Hope I'm still around.

Returning to the hobby in the Hudson Valley

Welcome from Colorado. Growing up on the Jersey shore, I spent many a weekend backpacking in Harriman State Park and the Adirondacks. Very pretty up there.

***What Are You Smoking, February 2025?***

Peretti 500 in a Wiley. Another cigar blend from the boys in Boston. Different than the Dundee, but still very good.

    Any experience with Posella pipes?

I only own one Posella, but it's drilled perfectly.

***What Are You Smoking, February 2025?***

    What's For Dinner?

That reminded me, I haven't smoked my Serie 1960 Golden Extra in ages. What a great little pipe. McC 40th Anniversary with some Ferrand Ambre Cognac on the side.

***What Are You Smoking, January 2025?***

Firebird in a Wiley. Spent the last couple hours visiting with a friend who just lost his dad last Thursday. So sad because it was preventable if his dad hadn't been so stubborn and gone to the doctor a few days earlier.

Problem Continuous Relights with GH Rum Twist

A looser pack maybe ? Otherwise I got nothing. I've never had it before, I've only had Black X.

Problem Continuous Relights with GH Rum Twist

Do you really have it going properly from the get go ? That's usually the most common problem. Got to get that cherry glow going.

Question For The Long Time Pipe Smokers

This. It will take some years to figure out if you're the type that is happy with one or only a few blends or if you crave variety. I typically have over 60 tins open at any time.

***What Are You Smoking, January 2025?***

Firebird Flake in a Wiley. My second bowl and am really enjoying it. First bowl was uneven because I rubbed it out and didn't dry it. I also used a pipe dedicated to English blends, so not a great way to sample a new blend.
