Snow melted off enough to get some actual ranch work done...finally! Drew Estate Grand Central in a Savinelli Mattone 614 faux-Hungarian kept me company. Wifey enjoyed the room note; the mustang could not have cared less. 9.5/10
Bird report: Dark-eyed junco, White-crowned sparrow, California towhee, House finch, Chipping sparrow, American crow, Steller's jay, California scrub-jay, European starling (first sighting in five or six years!), Oak titmouse, White-breasted nuthatch, Mountain chickadee, Northern flicker, Hairy woodpecker, American robin, and Western bluebird. Full cast, as I celebrate nine years of living up here in the SoCal mountains.
