    My New Beauty!

I had to google that one 😂.

    My New Beauty!

I was even wondering if it could be considered a brandy shape.

Pros and Cons of Meer Lined Pipes

I have a meer lined Rattray. I really enjoy it. I also have briars and cobs. Just ordered a proper meer. I guess I’m in the ‘get them all’ and enjoy camp! Only way to find out what you really like.

Your Best Cheap Pipe; Here's Mine; Let's See Yours!

A little more than specified, but my Missouri Meerschaum European No.1 is an enjoyable smoke.

    Canadian Everclear Alternatives?

Thanks. BSW cost a fortune in shipping to Ontario. I’ll check out the Spirytus at the lcbo.

    Canadian Everclear Alternatives?

Since we can’t get Everclear in Canada, what spirit does everyone use as an alternative for pipe cleaning?

For Longstem Wooden Churchwarden Smokers: Tonguebite and a Solution

A softy bit might also help. I thought you had inverted one in the picture when I first looked.

    I’ve got a 90 pound boxer who can clear a room! 😫

    My Old Peterson

Are the stems vulcanite or acrylic? Anyone know?

    My Old Peterson

I tried to keep the filter sitting high into the stem, so hopefully it won’t be sitting in the slop.

    My Old Peterson

Since I started smoking with filters exclusively, my old Peterson has languished in the ‘decorative’ pipe display. I took a look at the stem ( I believe it’s vulcanite), but couldn’t tell if it was hollow inside, or what was going on behind the small hole in the bottom. With nothing to lose...

Do You Have an Aversion to Bulldogs?

I’ve got a Butz-Choquin bulldog pipe I love but whose stem is toast beyond repair. Any recommendations on how to obtain a replacement? I’d want an acrylic.

Ever Have One Of Those Days?

He is actually really good. Don’t want to cramp his style though 😝

    6mm Charcoal Filters.

Just opened a new box of Vauen 6mm filters bought through Smith & Frank on Amazon. In the box I found an OCB filter. Are these made by Vauen then? Anybody use them before? They look similar. Can’t figure out how else it got in there.

Ever Have One Of Those Days?

I wish! My smoking room is the garage, but one of my sons was using it for band practice. 🤦‍♂️ Now that I’m pretty much done, the sun has come out a bit, and the wind has died down. Figures. First world problems.

Ever Have One Of Those Days?

After daughter’s hockey practice, I was really looking forward to a relaxing pipe. Been ill, so it’s been a couple weeks. Sat down outside and lit up, but it was so windy I decided to go out a little later instead. Went back out and then it started raining, so back in again. Came back out...

    My New Beauty!

Would you call this a bent apple, egg or billiard?

    My New Beauty!

Thanks everyone. I was thinking more along those lines. Have been watching the Bremen Pipe smoker and that’s what he advises also. I chose the Birinci meer pipe based on his recommendation surrounding larger less expensive pipes that also take a 9mm filter. I know that cost wise they seem a...

    My New Beauty!

Just dealing with the wax and holding by the stem etc. With such a big monetary investment (for me. - I know it’s all relative), didn’t want to mess it up by ruining the coloration and finish. Being a smooth bowl, there won’t be much hidden.
