Really appreciate you sharing your experiences. I made my own 9mm Churchwarden cob out of an elf cobbit. Bought a 9mm acrylic Churchwarden stem off Amazon. It actually fit the cobbit shank well.- Bassman65

I use Savinelli or Vauen 6mm in my M.M. cobs. The Vauens are the only ones that fit in their pipes with the acrylic stems. Never thought of putting the filters in the shank. That’s what has been holding me back from getting Forever Stems - the fact they won’t accommodate filters.- Bassman65

I enjoy using my Peterson, IMCOs and zippos immensely. I did, however, try an EZ Reach lighter for the first time based on the many positive reviews I’ve seen in the posts.
