    Mario Grandi Pipes

Very nice pipes. I especially like your smooth pot with the horizontal grain.

    Brebbia Go-Go Mad Max style

Outrageous! I find myself wanting an abused little street pipe to bring back to life.

    My Askwithe Arrived!

I'm not familiar with that maker but, if your pipe is any indication, Askwith is someone I need to know better. Beautiful piece and the rubber bit actually adds to its sense of balance. Enjoy.

    My Prize Arrived Today!

Only 22 posts and already a winner! Congratulations.

Brebbia Jumbo Golden Bent Bulldog (2724)

This is a Brebbia Ninja that has been in my rotation for about a year. It's a relatively small pipe, at the other end of the size spectrum, but is a great little smoker. Well built and solid as a rock. I would recommend this maker without hesitation.

PAD: GBD Seventy-Six Bulldog, Model 2006

One of my favorite shapes...and the briar on your pipe is beautiful. Great job!

Estate Savenelli I picked up on Ebay

Welcome, my friend. I have several Savs in my collection, including a Punto Oro, and (I'm not inviting a war here) I like them even more than my Petersons. You found a great pipe from a fine maker. You also found the best pipe forum on the web.

    Inherited Treasures

Welcome aboard, cajundad. It has taken me 42 years to accumulate a collection of 30 pipes. You are truly blessed with not only the number, but the remarkable quality of these pieces. I only hope that, when I'm gone, someone will prize my pipes as you appreciate these.

    My New Meerschaum Eagle Claw

Thanks, Gentlemen. It took a bit of saving, but definitely worth the wait. She smokes as good as she looks...very light and the claws allow air to flow between bowl and hand. Sweet.

    My New Meerschaum Eagle Claw

This is my newest acquisition. It's an SMS meerschaum "claw and egg" that I wanted to share with my forum friends. Clearly among my favorites.

    Discovering Calabash

I just purchased my first Calabash pipe. It's a French BC and sports a Turkish block meerschaum bowl and an African gourd. A beautiful addition to my collection, but between salt, alcohol and a somewhat complex cleaning system, it will never be an every day smoker. On the special occasions I...

Cuttys and Canadians where are they?

A Charatan Canadian...from the same consignment shop. I visit often as a symptom of my PAD problem. Please don't tell my wife.

Cuttys and Canadians where are they?

I found these two cuttys at a local consignment shop. The silver markings indicate an interesting history dating back to Birmingham England in 1897. Needless to say, I'll be holding on to them. A real find. Happy hunting.

Wally Frank estate pipes French briar

Pipedia is always my "go to" source for quick information. I love to learn the history of my pipes, so I always do some research with each new purchase. Enjoy your Frank as I will mine.

My First Freehand ... and a question

I have several Danish pipes in my collection and they are all keepers. I have no experience with that particular maker, but love the amber colored stem and the deep carving of the bowl. Lots of cool air between the tobacco and your hand. Great find. Enjoy it.

Wally Frank estate pipes French briar

I really like the grain on your bent billiard, pipewife. Mr. Frank imported a lot of European pieces to his shop in NYC so quality tends to vary. He generally brought in only pipes from reputable makers, though. It appears we both came up with lucky finds here.

Wally Frank estate pipes French briar

Both stems appear to be Lucite. They screw in to the shank in a way I haven't seen before, with threaded lucite into threaded briar rather than a metal connector in between. They cleaned up well. Thanks for the comments.

Wally Frank estate pipes French briar

Two "Wally Frank" estate pipes purchased from a local antique shop. Great smokers with FRANK and FRENCH BRIAR stamped on the side of each. I really like the stem color on the bent billiard and the extra long stem on the straight. They are both in very good condition, but I know little else about...

    Another Estate Find

A great meer at a fantastic price! Sometimes we get lucky. That pipe was loved by its former owner. Treat it equally well and it will serve you for years to come. The location and size of the shank crack say it shouldn't be a major problem.

    Rescued from home

Thanks for the photos. This is a No Name I purchased in Mallorca, Spain back in 1970. It's my first pipe and is still a favorite.
