Deep Secrets of Pipe Filters
Interesting about the sav adapters. I have one sav filter adapter that I tried to fit in my MM pipe and it was too big. I had thought about buy a pack of adapters and some sandpaper to make them fit. I also thought about going to Lowes and seeing what I could find that might fit. -

Pipes and my sinuses
I would point you to a nettie pot to help with sinus infections. In the four years since making this a part of my regular bodily upkeep routine I have not had one sinus issue that resulted in me having a full blown sinus infection. Do I Really Need A Cob?
You do not have to do anything. You get to smoke what you like and like what you smoke; however, I would recommend getting a couple of cobs to try. Heck, maybe you will end up liking the way they look and feel.- jndyer

I would second getting a Mr. Brog pipe. I have several of the pear wood pipes that are some of the best pipes I own. In the United States these can be had for about $25. The rusticated Kentucky that I own is especially beautiful.- jndyer

FDA Regulations and Bulk?
I would love to get a clear answer on this proposition because my favorite tobacco (like 99% of what I smoke) is Lane RLP-6. Maybe I will have to start buying the 5lbs bags and packing into jars. I guess time will tell. Hopefully we have this answer weeks or months before any change to bulks...- jndyer
