    1940 Dunhill Bruyere (Shape 472 - a.k.A. LB)

I’ll take a fat stubby billiard shape over most others any day. I like it.

    First Restoration Attempt

    Cool little nose warmer.

Lovat Off The Bench - Pic Heavy

Nice job! I like that color. Did you clear coat it, and is that a brass stem insert?

3 Year Journey: Complete Set of Continental X-Series (Pic Heavy)

Thanks guys. Yes sir, I smoke them. The old Ajustomatic’s are great burners.

Broke out the First Pipe Rack

^^ A damp rag followed by a dry micro fiber towel should take care of it. That will be a full time job for the amount of pipes you have. 8O

    1922

I skipped past it last time on Netflix. If Mike Patton did the score then I’ll have to watch it now. I’m a big fan of his music. Mr Bungle anyone? Thanks for posting.

Broke out the First Pipe Rack

Ha. That’s some clever engineering. Sable has been saying this for years and I think I’ll finally heed his advice. As much as I like the eye candy on the pipe racks, I think I’m going to retire the pipe cabinet. I haven’t had any problems with the stems oxidizing from light but my pipes are...

That cleaned up nice. I’ll be following this thread to see the progress on the rest. Keep up the good work.

Here’s one that’s near and dear to me. This belonged to my grandfather. One of the few I can actually remember seeing him smoke. He had this one going during the gift passing and unwrapping on a Christmas Eve. I must have been 8 or 10 then. GBD Tapestry 9436

    Berkley Club Bulldog (Sasieni 2nd)

Fine work as always Al. I’d love know to how you get those chambers so squeaky clean. Can’t wait to see that Sasieni 79 when you’re done. What a great profile. How bad is the crack? I love banded pipes but it’d be nice to keep that original if possible.

    Started My KEN Pipe overhaul.

Looks like some nice grain going on there. I have a Ken with a green stem courtesy of Scrooge. I plan on putting back all original. The contraptions inside these pipes are interesting to say the least.

I’m loving these pipes fellas. My PAD is overboard now. This doesn’t have the greatest grain pattern but it’s such a fantastic shape. Blasted, squat, and tapered, rarely show up all together on a GBD. GBD Prehistoric 9282

Maple Lovat off the Bench - Pic Heavy

Very nice. The wood accent and (brass dot?) are terrific together with the maple. What is the accent wood?
