    Sutliff Cringle Flake 2020

Yeah mine took three days from ordering to ship, and it looks like I was one of the lucky ones! I don't understand how in 2020 it can take any longer than two days to get something out the door and into the mail. Pretty ridiculous.

    Sutliff Cringle Flake 2020

Mine just came. I ordered a little too late and had to order from P&C, and sure enough, it was terribly packaged. 6 tins and three bags of pipe cleaners rattling around in a box that is much too large, with almost no filler materials. Still, all tins are intact (well, save for the one that got...

Anyone Else Have Working Dogs As House Pets?

I'm always dubious of anyone who doesn't love dogs. They really are the finest of all human "inventions."

Anyone Else Have Working Dogs As House Pets?

We do, too! Zander is our third, and we still miss the other two. We're "Sheltie people", and although we LOVE our Lab, he's kind of an aberration for us. Shelties are not for people who are looking to get "a dog." They really insist on being full-fledged members of the household, and share...

Anyone Else Have Working Dogs As House Pets?

We have two "working" dogs, a retriever and a herder. They both are mostly hard at work both driving us insane (with their barking and antics) as well as keeping us sane through the stresses of life. Zander the Sheltie is, like most Shetland Sheepdogs, always at work, organizing the...

    Club 27 or Thereabouts

Oh boy. This list is unfortunately too long: Jeff Buckley Tim Buckley Elliott Smith Nick Drake John Lennon Kurt Cobain John Belushi Amy Winehouse Buddy Holly Patsy Cline Hank Tupac Duane Allman Sid Barrett (didn't die young, but his mental health problems basically ended his career at 26)...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2020?***

Having my second bowl of the day, a bowl of McClelland #2015 VaPer Flake in a Bones Blackjack bent bulldog. My first was enjoyed while taking the dogs on an afternoon walk with the wife, and it was a bowl of Watch City Deluxe Crumb Cut, enjoyed in a Peterson Aran straight apple.

    Tell Me About Your Grandfather

Like many of you, I never knew either of my Grandfathers, as both died before I was born. My Dad's dad was an oil roughneck, and not the nicest guy around. He was a womanizer and walked out while my grandmother was pregnant with my dad. As soon as the work would dry up in an area, he'd just...

    SPC Mississippi River, Tasty.

Nice write up! I haven’t tried MR, but I do enjoy MR Special Reserve on occasion. A great blend of Va and Latakia. Kinda tastes a little like smoked citrus, if you ask me.

Helicopter Crew Discovers Mysterious Metal Monolith

Definitely a public art installation. I wanna go find it! I have spent quite a bit of time in Utah's red rock country, and it's truly spectacular country. Anyone who has spent time in the backcountry there can attest to the fact that someone could easily install something like this in a small...

    Diego Maradona has Died

He was basically the John Belushi of football. Too much of everything, and a genius in his field. Maradona himself said a few years ago that he was 53 going on 80, or something to that effect, because of all the hard living.

    Diego Maradona has Died

What, you don’t think a life of opulent over-eating and heavy cocaine use could lead to a heart attack? ?

    Diego Maradona has Died

One of the greats. One of the most loved and hated footballers of all time. 60 years old, and dead from a probable heart attack.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2020?***

Currently enjoying a bowl of Savinelli Doblone D'oro in a Sasieni two dot 1/8 bent billiard. Earlier today it was Watch City's Rhythm and Blues in a Chris Morgan Blackjack bent bulldog.

    11 Days In The Hospital..

Welcome back! When I saw you had posted I thought "well, we haven't seen him in a while!" Looks like a very good reason why. Really glad you're ok, and especially that everything went well when they were digging around in there. I was in a car accident when I was 17 that resulted in the...

Sutliff: Cringle Flake 2020 is Out

Mine shipped today as well, after a few days in “processing”, which had me a bit nervous given the tendency of P and C to allow people to order things only to let them they they’re out of stock after the fact.

    Tom Eltang - I Don’t Give A!

Kinda jealous that you can smoke on the job. As an organist, I wonder what people would say if I just sparked up a bowl while sitting on the bench in the middle of the sermon.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2020?***

Ah how I do not miss seeing views like that outside my window! I lived in Minnesota from 2002-2016, and smoking anything in the wintertime was quite the challenge.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2020?***

Enjoying a bowl of GL Pease Embarcadero in an HS Studio bent pot, along with some Celestial Seasonings Country Peach Passion iced tea. This tobacco spent 8 seconds in the microwave and that dried it perfectly, leading to a one-light perfect smoke. Bliss!
