    GH&Co. 500g Bags

I’m curious to know how long the tobacco in GH&Co.’s 500g bags will keep if you leave it in the bag. Am I ok to cellar it that way, or do I need to jar it before putting it in the cellar? And to be clear, I’m talking about the green plastic bags like the one pictured below. Thanks for your input.

Watching the Pirates and Padres as I smoke a bowl of C&D Night Train in an older Stanwell Canadian. I live overseas, so it’s nearly bedtime here. For me, this is the ideal way to end the weekend.

You May Say I’m a Reamer, Am I the Only One?

For me, a paper towel in the bowl after each smoke. I have a Rodgers smokers knife that was gifted to me by a friend that I use occasionally to trim cake. The only time I get the Pipnet out is when I’m cleaning an estate.

    Savinelli Saint Nicholas

The band really sets it up, creating a great contrast between the dark stummel and stem. Nice looking pipe!

    Mold In Pipe Chamber?

What were you using to clean the stems? Could it be that the spot on the outside is residue from when cleaning your stems, maybe some solution that was on your fingers?

    Tight Stem / Tenon

Something fine, like 1500 grit. I would sand as a last option—first see if you can solve the problem without removing any material from the tenon or the inside of the mortise.

    Stacked Blends?

This sounds interesting. I might have to try some combinations just for fun.

    Tight Stem / Tenon

A little beeswax should do the trick. Or the graphite from a pencil. That’s where I would start.

    Please Help Identify a Flavor

If you end up liking the cavendish, you could give Mac Baren Black Ambrosia a shot. It’s a Virginia cavendish with a bit of topping
