Most of the old-ish stuff I've had has aged and lasted well after opening. I've never had anything over 20 years though. The blends I like fresh tasted great aged. The blends I didn't like fresh didn't. Who wudda thunk?- spicy_boiii

Is Tongue Bite Over Hyped?
At my current ability, with the "bite-ist" of blends, and worst of circumstances, it'll take a couple bowls to experience any real tongue bite. Solani Aged Burley Flake vs C&D Pegasus
I've recently smoked all of those mentioned in this thread (Stonehaven, Pegasus, ABF, and Granger), and they are all so different to not be an apples and apples comparison.
