McClellands Dark Star, which I've been aging for years, and which is sometimes cited as hard to burn, in a Sav 673 KS bulldog. It's true, I will have to dry this out some more, and I have reduced a second bowl in a hand grater to get it down to more burnable size. However, the fragrance of the opened tin and the short stretches of smoking I've had, are promising, raisins and sweet Virginia leaf. I'm coaxing it, and it is coaxing me. The taste is likely to be further enhanced by the amount I'd have to pay for this tin today. It's doing a lot better on the third relight ... mmmm. Nothing like a discontinued blend.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Wilke Peanut Butter and Chocolate in a light brown 1979 rusticated medium bend Italian Sir Jeffrey Dublin sitter with a flared top and yellow saddle stem. Watching the Astros-White Sox pre-game show.
