@Duck Nice pipe and good tobacco choice; I feel Gawith blends are very well suited to clay pipes.
Can you imagine how much Gawith baccy must have been smoked in clay pipes over the years???

Good day all! Starting with Peterson Royal Yacht in an Upshall sandblast Dublin with smooth rim and eighth-bent stem size 3-4.
Nearly finished the first week of Stoptober and just been to Buxton Crescent for an overnight stay:
Really enjoyed it especially the rooftop swimming pool but Buxton doesn't seem to get the weather for it as it's usually cold & wet; I was lucky weather wise
Just my luck during Stoptober to find a local tobacconist's shop in Buxton that sells a good range of pipes (including clays - I bought 2 new ones that look like Markus Fohr pipes; a shame to smoke them)!
They also carried a range of meers including a skull shaped one that made me think of @chasingembers
The only way of keeping clay pipes clean is not to smoke them

Finishing up from last night, Semois thick cut in a MM/Dagner nose-warmer poker. The pipe though compact has a good capacious chamber for this blend, so it burned for a while. It's a Belgium burley variant, one of my favorites.
We started smoking with. hu: Haymaker, in a MM Carolina Gent....................................
Just finished smoking circa year 2000 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
D&R Two Timer, a twice toasted blend of burleys, in a Peterson smooth unfinished bent Dublin with a nickel band, now coloring nicely. This is a nice follow-up on the Semois, another distinctive burley blend.
Between the chance of rain and the baseball playoffs, this will be the only chance I'll get walking reps in today, with a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in an undated straight brush etched black Molina apple with a nickel band and a black tapered vulcanite stem.
Noontime bowl of St. Bruno RR in the dedicated small Tilshead Dublin (a nice counterpoint to Royal Yacht).
Sutliff Victorian Match out of my Chacom Reserve half bent billiard.
Next up: MB HH Old Dark Fired in my Rattray's devil anse.
Cobblestone Rook Flake in my recently acquired 1963 Dunhill shell billiard.

@smudgersmissingleg Never tried that one but my local tobacconist in Chesterfield sells it loose - I'll have to try it in my clay...
