How Do You Feel About Stems In Your Tobacco?

I enjoy fully rubbing out all types of tobacco. For me it's part of the ritual. I simply remove the stems and dry out tobacco if needed.

Does Pipe Smoking Reduce Stress and/or Blood Pressure?

It certainly reduces MY stress and I don't know about the blood pressure. For me smoking is like stepping into a time machine, as it brings me back to a less complicated time in my life.

    Need Advice on Smoking Virginias.

I've read everyone's replies and appreciate all bar none. Picked up a tin of Union Square and will heed all the advice that was so kindly given. Hoping to join the Virginia aficionados. I think it's best to hold off on the Latakia bombs and stick to Orientals when I want to change up from my...

All Pipe Smokers are Weird...Except You and Me.

I had a friend who smoked 2 pipes at a time. Usually one English blend and the other an aromatic. He liked the different tastes during one smoking session. Very weird to me, but to each his own

Found out a Friend is a Pipe Smoker!

I belong to a cigar club and have introduced the pipe to quite a few members and all of them have switched over. Their only complaint is the paraphernalia that goes with pipe smoking as opposed to cigars. Agreed, but for me it is more a ritual that I enjoy. Takes me back to an easier time.

Show us your Dirk Heinemann Pipes:

This one I smoke when I want a quick one. Only 4 inches long. Didn't expect it to come with Dirk's cool drawing. Also his initials on the draw string block. All nice touches and a great performer.

Show Us Your Comoy's (Collectors Thread)

Don't know if this pipe belongs on this thread and if so will delete and my apologies. Purchased from Todd who states this pipe was made by Comoy for Robinson & Co. Ltd. A beauty in my opinion and smokes as well as it looks. Thanks Todd

    Full Bent or Bent Billiard?

Larry Roush called this shape his "fisherman pipe" It's light and when clenched, rests against you chin making it effortless to hold in your mouth. I smoke it when I need both hands to do something else.

    Bent or Straight Stem?

If the pipe is well made, I see no difference. I always make sure before purchasing a pipe that a cleaner will easily run through to the bowl, even on a full bent like below.

    Do You Ash?

I'm with Warren. If I'm not enjoying the smoke as well as expected, I will dump the ash and run pipe cleaner through. Usually works well for me

Beloved Tobacco Blender Greg Pease Diagnosed with Pipe Acquisition Disorder

I think I have it too. Just bought a pipe for display and not smoking. Is it terminal?

    Pipe Preacher

I was an altar boy in the 60s and almost all the priests I was under smoked pipes. Between the incense and the pipe smoke the Sacristy always smelled great! lol

    Castello Question

Castello is a great pipe period! As PaulIRVA stated, Scotti is the flavor of the day. I have one of both and they both perform fantastically
