New to me Comoy’s Tradtion 409, restored by @ssjones. First bowl and I love this shape and size. Lovely looking pipe, mid-century-ish and folks always on here talking about that new pipe dilemma or puffing through cheap pipes off Amazon would do well to look for clean estates and get quality pipes for reasonable prices by looking at the FS on here in particular, IMO. Of course, picking this up after thinning the herd and swearing off getting more pipes is a different issue!2657AAC0-19CA-4513-B24B-39BC0825069F.jpeg

Not sure if this counts? But a recent acquisition for me, estate pipe from a forum member here, this Guildhall 215 is pretty nice for a less expensive pipe. I love the overall size, shape, and weight. The stem also seems very refined compared to most lower to mid level pipes I’ve handled.

Same as the one I posted a while ago, love that shape. Nice catch!

Recent acquisition, a Guildhall from the 1960's? The stamping is very faint: The Guildhall London pipe, reverse Made in London(in a circle) England, shape 23. Curious about the Sterling Silver mount versus Sterling London. A very good smoker.

I haven't added a Comoy's in a while, but picked up this Shape 70 Sandblast. The stem needed rebent but the seller had done a great job with it. Comoy's sandblasts can be pretty nondescript, but this one has some nice grain. 35 grams. I didn't find any other Shape 70 examples. I love working on these military Comoys stems.

My late Uncle's Comoy's of London Christmas pipe collection ranges from 1976-1982. All are in very good condition with very little usage. The Christmas 1976 pipe at the top of the photo was kept inside the Ben Wade pouch, and the Christmas 1977-1982 are all in their original boxes and three of them have the original Guarantee postcard inside the box. This would make an awesome addition for any collector of Comoy's tobacco pipes.
1976 - only 800 produced
1977 - only 1200 produced

Don't know if this pipe belongs on this thread and if so will delete and my apologies.

Purchased from Todd who states this pipe was made by Comoy for Robinson & Co. Ltd.

A beauty in my opinion and smokes as well as it looks.

Thanks Todd

Yes, it's a Comoy for sure (and a helluva beautiful pipe). The COM and shape number both support Todd's statement. Congratulations!

Picked up this unsmoked Comoy's Sunrise pipe, supposedly made from "century-old Algerian briar" (Briar Lee, where you at, my man? ;)). I just love the craggadocious™ etched grain style on these. It reminds me of ancient weathered wood. Stem is stamped FRANCE. Any comments regarding dating/year would be greatly appreciated.
