Prepping Sam Gawith's Full Virginia Flake

Lunker I am I guess. I microwave mine. Works for me...

Paps Footlocker (and where to NOT use Fieblings Stain)

What a coincidence Al. I am currently lamenting the loss (can't find it) of my camp box from when I was in Boy Scouts. I am going to build one from scratch for my 7 year old grandson, and start stocking it with stuff. If I last long enough, it will contain all kinds of things up to and including...

    Got a New Desk System

This mask is designed for summer use in your convertible. White for cooler comfort. The large diameter hose connects to the remote bowl that holds 8 ounces of tobacco. It enables easy draw and cross country enjoyment. Enjoy!

    All Briar Clean Up Before/After

Just beautiful. This pic makes me think of the classic speed boat in 'On Golden Pond.

    Thank You All

Oh, the chamber of the pipe is 5/8" in diameter and a hair over an inch deep.

    Thank You All

Yes, I agree, LOL, after trying it once. (Whispering now...) I nuked the flake for 15 seconds before breaking up about half of it and fold/stuffing it into the pipe.

    Storing Pipes

As far as angle... there is a reference somewhere here, but I can't find it to link to it. But, basically it said "It is better for your pipe to be erect, than not, in certain situations"

What Is With All the Links To Threads Instead Of Answers?

English again... fingers have way too many bones to make good sandwich filler. Canned tuna is much better. Or smoked salmon.

    Thank You All

The little pipe could use more work, but it operates fine now. The bowl will just allow the first joint of my little finger to probe around... LOL, tight fit. I will measure it if I remember. The next 'little one' will probably be the Yello Bowl that was sitting next to this one on the work...

    Thank You All

Especially our host, for this enjoyable resource known as a forum. I learn from it daily, laugh at it more often than not and just generally enjoy the 'blend'. Sometimes the blend seems to have a bit more Perique than necessary, but then at other times it is just right. The threads about...

An Anni Kake-Like Blend Without Reds?

I have to ask, and this is an honest question... If you love the 'smell and flavor' of it, why not smoke IT? Curiosity...

Fungi That Attack Cellared Tobacco - Research

It was done in Jesse's basement. No documentation.

    Storing Pipes

... unless you hang them stem down in those holders that are too short to allow bent pipes to be inserted. Then it is OK.

*** What Are You Smoking?*** (November 2017)

Well... The stuff over the mountains in this pic is Nevada Blue, that beautiful blue sky we have most of the time. We welcomed it back today after a couple of days of well needed moisture blew through. So in honor of the BLUE, I had some Captstan Blue in this little Grabow Duke. Neat little...

What Is With All the Links To Threads Instead Of Answers?

I will do it for you. It took the search engine about 20 seconds to find the word 'link'. http://pipesmagazine.com/forums/topic/bueschers-corn-cob-pipe-still-in-original-bag#post-1156721

Leave it in the Case or in the Rack?

I too wonder what we would protect them from. Curious... Yes, to each his own. I only have one meerschaum with a case. The case sits in a nice amber glass ash tray, open, with the pipe sitting in that. I can see them both that way. The others sit in racks out in the open, with no protection...
