I got selfish and decided to work on one of my own pipes recently. This isn’t really a restoration just a basic rejuvenation. Overlooking the grunge factor, the pipe was in excellent condition. Most of these All Briar’s have been chewed up and smoked to death. I lucked out finding this. This addition makes 2 in the arsenal.

Wow, what a shape. You were lucky to find one in that condition, it looks new now.
I wonder who the factory assigned to those all-briar stems? Were they more challenging to make than a vulcanite stem?

Just beautiful. This pic makes me think of the classic speed boat in 'On Golden Pond.

Wow. Looks great, Dave. Nice find and nice work. I am always amazed at the way you can lighten up the colors on these pipes. Try as I may, I cannot pull it off.
