I Finally Put My Foot Down

... off the front of the roll and left with some hanging, so it can be found in the dark. Common sense isn't common any more it seems.

    Flake Tobacco in Square Tins

I have a little aluminum box, which I can't find right now, and can't find for sale anywhere. This thing holds about 4 normal soda crackers. I carried it when caving, many decades ago. It has a thick soft seal, and roller snaps on the ends. It works very well for crackers and I am sure it would...

    Churchwardens

I have one churchwarden. It is one of two new pipes I have, new as in bought new instead of as an estate pipe. Other than cobs of course, everyone needs a pile of MM cobs. The churchwarden is just a cheap one, but it was the only one I could find that I could afford at the time. It is nice...

    From A Former Thread - I Re-did This Poker

I am not sure what 'blocks' you are looking for, but snoop out machinists' parallels and 123 blocks. Both can be had cheaply and are for all practical purposes flat and straight. For example, these 123 blocks are about 8 bucks on ebay and are ground within .0003", which should be close enough...

I Finally Put My Foot Down

We resolved this issue here several years ago. Since we all have bad backs and since none of us like to clean the toilet more than necessary, we are all 'sitters'. Works great. Also, we got soft close lid/seats so a flick of a finger lowers the lid quietly. Winners all... And, I normally put...

Filtered pipes.... I think I've been converted

I got tired of cleaning the space that should have a filter in it. So today I smoked this: In this: The pipe is a little Medico that I just cleaned up. (It needs another coat of oil on the wood) and the inside of the stem was a mess from being smoked without the filter. I didn't have a problem...

    Selling pipes

I don't understand being upset with someone who buys something for a price you set. If you auction something with no reserve, you get what you asked. I for sure don't want to pay more than I want to. Set a price and either sell it or not, but getting upset is not logical.
