***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

What kind of flavor are you going to make? A steamer sounds nice and professional. I have no clue about commercial pipe tobaccos but I can see the date 14.4.93 - April 14th 1993 under the health warnings. I also don't know what the "KB/AR/KE" means, Google doesn't tell me anything.

Virginia Gold Lemon, straight'n'sweet in briar. Made a tobacco-coffee burrito. The strips are thoroughly soaked with sweet and strong coffee from freshly ground "organic" Arabica beans. Wrapped up in a Virginia leaf and ready to go. Afterwards I tightly wrapped it in the parchment paper...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Felt like having a mix of leftovers from my wee jar in my wee cob. The Sopranos is running in the background. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, although we don't have that over here. Sadly. Got some fresh ground and strong coffee jarred up for later, I'll soak the last of my Burley and Kentucky...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

A get-well-pipe for @Carol - Bright Virginia Latakia will cure what ails ya. Get better! More honey and lemon flavor! I'll take care of that by the end of the month. Probably gonna dry and rub up the flakes, then spray and maybe press them again. They should sell pipe tobacco in a pack like...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Airing out some of the Virginia Gold Lemon that I soaked with lemon peel infused mead, with a pinch of English style Black Cavendish. Maybe this will give the soaked VA a better chance to stand out. It needs a few more minutes before it's ready to be packed down the clay. I hope so too. So...

    Hic

I used to get this weird pressure that felt like it sat right above my stomach whenever I smoked too much but never got the hiccups. Have you tried holding your breath to deal with them? Take a deep breath and hold it in for a while, it works for me every time. Be careful, some people might get...

I also thought that there would be more honey and lemon flavor, the flakes in the jar smell great but they easily get overpowered by the Black Cavendish. I should've simmered the mead down with honey and lemon peel, that would've made a better sauce. I'll try some other mixtures and maybe even...

So, I'm Told I Had Stroke.

I'm glad you decided to get a check-up after all, several months is a long time to endure something as serious as a speech impediment. Don't let the worries get to you, but do get well soon. We all like you here but what's more your family loves you. Take care of yourself!

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Nah, not at all. I could've been much smarter and more precise with it. To me it's already a pretty damn good smoke but all in all it's nothing. You can't taste the work behind it. I'll take more flakes and add them to this current blend but the saucing is the matter. Lacking flavor, not...

And now the time has come. May the first version of the Clay King blend please stand up so we can all bask in it's gentle but royal deliciousness. Spotlight, drum roll and applause with three heavy cheers: The Clay King's clay pipe blend has left the jar! Its formula may be young but it will...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Airing out some straight Louisiana Perique, it's about ready to be smoked. I really held myself back to not smoke so much of it but the jar is almost empty anyway. Oh well, that's what they make it for and I love that stuff! My donkey pipe will have the honor. Just hacked up some Virginia...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Oriental, Latakia Virginia Bright, Cyprus Latakia. In clay, with pils. Wanted to try this for quite a while now. I used too much of the dark Cyprus Latakia but it's still a good smoke. It's good when it happens good! On the side are some rubbed up flakes of the mead soaked Virginia Gold Lemon...

    Question about mixing tobaccos.

It's a great joy to work with the tobacco, finding out what works and what doesn't. When I bought a pouch of McBaren Scottish Blend I was rather disappointed, it was weak and didn't offer much of anything. I mixed it with Clan and some raw leaf which turned it into a great smoke with lots of...

Do you prefer the 1st or 2nd half of bowl better?

I definitely prefer the stronger second half although that first puff off the top will always be the tastiest. I'd say it depends on if the bowl was being filled or smoked. If filled it's half full, if smoked it's half empty.

    Beginner

I love it, gives some great flavors. Try to push the smoke out of your mouth slowly while inhaling through your nose some time. Don't inhale too deep, you just want the smoke to enter your nostrils and push it out right afterwards. Compare that with the flavors from the retro haling. I'm...
