    Meerschaum Pipes

Those are some beautiful pieces, thanks for sharing. That piece of castle especially, I've seen lots of Meerschaum pipe shapes but never something like this. @halfdan would love it if it was made out of clay. 😁

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Perique, Cyprus Latakia, mead soaked Virginia. I underestimated the Latakia again, half of it would've sufficed. Although now, after that first quarter of the bowl, it fades out a little bit and lets the others come out.

Why did Cloth Sacked Tobacco Disappear?

All I know is that I want them back. Look at them: Much more attractive than any pouch or tin.

A bowl of Latakia VA Bright in a little Capitello. Yeah sure. But they don't sell pipe tobacco, just raw leaves. So far I bought from these two: Shop 1 Shop 2 This one I'm eager to buy from but haven't yet, great selection: Shop 3 It's not hard to make. ;)

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Virginia twists because someone's gotta smoke 'em. It was a fun idea but I don't think I'm doing this again. It's also very interesting that the Virginia became more like an Oriental, a lot spicier but still sweet. Tobacco in a jar with coffee beans, what the hell am I thinking? I put the...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

This is going to be a long one. I took the tobacco-coffee burrito out of the press, I couldn't take the pressure anymore. It's been in there since last thursday, under about 250kg/550lb of dead weight. Every heavy thing I have around was placed on there. All unpacked. This is like briar...

Lots of Clay King leftovers but I also smell Cyprus Latakia so into the clay it goes. I'm not putting so much as a crumb of Latakia in my briar pipes, I'm afraid the strong aroma will never leave the wood. Enjoy your sunday, folks! You don't throw rubber chickens at her, do you? 😁

The Romeo Briar Process - How to cut briar for tobacco pipes.

That was really nice, thanks for sharing. Nice touch to include the little clips of people around the world that love and desperately wait for pieces of his briar. I never knew that only the brighter outside layer of the briar could be used and the inside is pretty much waste.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

A few weeks ago I wrote an e-mail to one of my raw tobacco leaf suppliers, telling them what a happy customer I am and asking some questions about their leaves while giving out some friendly constructive criticism. Their answer was quick but short. Today I got another mail from them, thanking me...

Lemon mead soaked Virginia Gold Lemon in clay. Sweet, mild, smooth, good smoke. 👍 Yeah, let's hope this one doesn't stay too long! Take it easy and get well soon. The flakes for the Clay King are still drying out, not much going on until wednesday.

    Crushing a Whole Flake

I recently got a sample of SG 1792 flakes, I rubbed and crunched them for a good 10 minutes before I felt like they could be smoked. I was always baffled when I read that people would just fold their flakes and smoke them like that. I'll try it some time, there are enough homemade flakes lying...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Latakia Virginia Bright in my first but rarely smoked briar. I just hope it doesn't keep overpowering my own concoctions. It's pretty aromatic stuff, that Danish style Black Cavendish. Get a proper meal and a pint to fight that tiredness, have a pipe or three afterwards and rest well. ;) I...

Oh yeah, look at that. I didn't know either, didn't even catch my eye when I looked at it. That sauce sounds great, if you ever have any questions make sure to hit me up with a PM. I'll be happy to share what little I learned so far. Stone blocks work pretty well, I got a good 370lb worth of...
