***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

On this day, ten years ago, my grandfather died from cancer and the family got together to remember a great husband, father and grandfather. A great man who never had much but gave with two hands, the church was packed with people when he was laid to rest. I feel like a bowl of straight VA in...

    THE SHORT, SHORT SMOKE.

I smoke a lot of raw leaf and I guess that's as "English" as it can be. Yeah, the untreated/unsauced tobaccos burn fast and don't stay lit all that well, it depends more on the way the tobacco is cut at that point. At least that's my experience. But you can also pack it tighter and fit in more...

    Underrated Blends?

Brigg Regular. 5 bucks for 50g/1.7oz and it's an all around mild and pleasant smoke. I was going to make it my every day smoke until I started to mess with raw leaves. Add a pouch to your shopping cart next time you order pipe tobacco from a German shop. It won't blow you out of the water but...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Some chocolate-y hazelness in clay. More beer made me very silly and nostalgia made me remember and listen to Weird Al and suddenly BOOM - Clenchmeister! And that made me remember this, I don't know why I love it so much. Maybe it was made for nuts.

    Reservoir under draft hole.

I've read that some people here sieve that out and keep it until there's enough for another bowl. Personally I just dump the leftovers into the ashtray and let the pipe do whatever the hell it wants to do.

New (err, kinda) guy from KC.

I barely leave the county and my focus lays more on the tobacco and what I can do with it. I follow some eBay pipe auctions for briar pipes but try to get more clay ones at the moment. There is this "pipe studio" in Bremen, not far from the main train station. I'd like to visit that place...

Bremerhaven is not new to me, I live in a little town at the Weser just outside of Bremen. I don't have any experience with real pipe shops so far, I only ever visited those Toto Lotto shops that sell magazines and such, together with a few pipes and pouches of pipe tobacco.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Leftovers, I smell a decent amount of Danish style Black Cavendish. Gonna have longer smoke with my sawn-off and a pilsener. That piece of horn has a nasty crack running halfway through it and I don't really know what to do about it so I keep that strip of strong duct tape on there, otherwise...

    Post Your Pets!

Port-a-puddy system! :ROFLMAO: That's a pretty good idea but the warmth of the puddy is already enough for me. With an additional blanket on my lap I'd go up in flames like an eucalyptus tree. He currently loves to curl up on my wardrobe cabinet, there's some good warmth up there and he can...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2022?***

Coffee x lemon mead in a Jean Claude. I wonder how the rest of the coffee stuff turns out because so far I'm pretty happy, I'll take it out tomorrow and replace it with the mead soaked Virginia for a second round of flavoring. This time with a proper sauce.

    What's Not To Like?

Funny, I was thinking about that just yesterday. Before coming here I never had to deal with these reactions or the like so it seemed pretty crazy at first but I agree that it's a nice way to acknowledge a post without having to reply with a short sentence that clutters up the thread. And I felt...
