I'm a new member here and what drew me to this site was the active discussion going on here and friendly atmosphere. Being the first site in Google results certainly helps. I like that people here can disagree without profanities and insults. The lack of downvoting function also prevents this from turning into a circle jerk like Reddit where only one opinion is the correct one.

Surprisingly little of the show is about that narrow focus. Brian does a great job of getting a really wide array of guests and topics. Always something interesting or amusing.
