Testing the limits and trying a blend of just burley red tips, Maryland 609, and Latakia. My first smoke after getting this pipe repaired.
Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am off to work with a bowl of Wilke Hearth of Galway in an undated smooth straight medium brown made in France Saillard Lord Clerit lumberman with a black vulcanite saddle stem.
Some SG Black XX in my new Savinelli 114. Absolute bliss.
Last smoke for today is Wessex Gold Virginia Flake in a Jack Howell Bulldog.
Finishing the day out with some 2018 CRF that I sous-vide stoved in an AND mini-meer.

Just finished smoking D&R Penhooker in a straight smooth brown undated (Colossal) Custom Made Natural Grain Algerian Briar Made In France Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Time for some snacking. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

A beautiful evening here in Nashville. This is my first bowl of HU Makhuwa which is a burley based blend with VA and Perique and a touch of chocolate topping. It’s excellent. The pipe is a Missouri Meerschaum Night Rider Washington.

Part way through this bowl of D&R Windsail in a smooth straight dark brown family era “Canadian” by Sasieni with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
Finished work for the day, and am half way through this bowl of year 2016 Sutliff Revelation Match in a straight smooth brown pre-WWII Kingsway (Comoy’s) London Made 61 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. I expect to end the day with this smoke.
Since I've been writing about the ferals, I thought I'd tell this story: There used to be stray cat that made the rounds in this neighborhood. We named him "Buster" after a skit in the old Lum and Abner radio show. Grandpappy Spears lost his memory and after a couple of weeks of that, he went to The Jot 'Em Down store, and told Lum and Abner that he figured out that his name was Buster V. Davenport. Abner asked him how he figured that out, and Grandpa said, "I looked at my underwear and saw my initials, BVD."
