@FurCoat I enjoyed the Ennerdale Flake in my clay pipes.Ennerdale in a Manx meerView attachment 229400
I'd have given up the pipe altogether if it wasn't for the loose / tinned baccy a local tobacconist in Chesterfield (and one in Buxton) sells![]()
@PipeIT Good heads up; I use an empty pipe baccy tin and I'm thinking of using one for my firelighting kit when I get into bushcraft. It would be good to have learned to light my pipe with flint & steel by the Nottingham pipe smokers' meet-up in October! What if you buy the baccy in tins and pouches, and then recycling them?![]()
I'm glad you are enjoying your aromatic journey. The get frowned upon at times, but "float" the pipe tobacco "ship". I enjoy aromatics on occasion (usually as the first smoke of the day).
My favorite aromatic is Arrowhead from Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint, which is a kitchen sink aromatic (with vanilla, carmel, and a whole mix of tobacco leaves). You can order by phone. I highly recommend it (along with adding a bit of a stouter blend to aromatics for more of a kick).
