@FurCoat I enjoyed the Ennerdale Flake in my clay pipes.Ennerdale in a Manx meerView attachment 229400
I'd have given up the pipe altogether if it wasn't for the loose / tinned baccy a local tobacconist in Chesterfield (and one in Buxton) sells
@PipeIT Good heads up; I use an empty pipe baccy tin and I'm thinking of using one for my firelighting kit when I get into bushcraft. It would be good to have learned to light my pipe with flint & steel by the Nottingham pipe smokers' meet-up in October! What if you buy the baccy in tins and pouches, and then recycling them?
I'm glad you are enjoying your aromatic journey. The get frowned upon at times, but "float" the pipe tobacco "ship". I enjoy aromatics on occasion (usually as the first smoke of the day).
My favorite aromatic is Arrowhead from Paul's Pipe Shop in Flint, which is a kitchen sink aromatic (with vanilla, carmel, and a whole mix of tobacco leaves). You can order by phone. I highly recommend it (along with adding a bit of a stouter blend to aromatics for more of a kick).
