Now smoking well aged 4Noggins Bald Headed Teacher in a medium brown, smooth octagonal paneled bowl and shank, medium bend 2016 Tim West Book Keeper 6 with a black acrylic saddle stem. Comparing this to the current version... or vice versa, which is really more accurate.

A near microscopic pinch of Lane RLP-6 (almost typed ELP...listening to too much prog rock...again!) in my MM mini cob. Too cold, windy and noisy outside for a big boy bowl. Bird report: Steller's jay, California quail, California scrub-jay, California towhee, California thrasher, Spotted towhee, Dark-eyed junco, Oak titmouse, House finch, White-crowned sparrow, Chipping sparrow, Red-tailed hawk, Common raven, and Hairy woodpecker. Getting in my last tasks before sundown, with the next storm approaching fast. Chicken chili tonight...flatulent Friday! Actually, I soaked the beans all day, which should help to negate some of that. :poop: (no fart emoticon--this is the best I can do)

Happy weekend all!

I mixed together some white burley, bright virginia, and a bit of perique to see what would happen.

It’s definitely smokeable, but not super-exciting. This is almost certainly not the fault of the leaf, just that I’m used to burley (or virginia, to be honest) blends that are flavored in some way. I bet some red virginia and/or dark burley would add some interest; they’ll be in my next order.
