Stokkebye's Optimum in my Vauen Auenland Almar. This was my first time smoking Optimum in this pipe and it matched really well. I think Optimum shines with a bit of heat, and the long stem helps cool the smoke. Pretty.... optimum. This is such a fun pipe.

Darn. I’ve really wanted to like that Paul Menard but the length and tall stack and clacky stem just don’t balance for me at all so I guess it’s Sayonara. Soothing my sorrow with the IMP and Wilke Gramercy Park. 
Enjoyed a tasty salad, a big bowl of m'lady's tomato soup, four pancakes, a cinnamon raisin English muffin and a big navel orange for lunch. I've about a third of a bowl left of year 2021 KBV Your Welcome in a straight smooth dark brown 1930s (Comoy’s) Canadian Club 230 eight paneled billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
