Richards has been non-existent for most of the season. I agree with you that he should sit. I think it's time to put JT Miller in the lineup.

Sid's hatty Friday didn't impress me too much. On the first one Karlsson was going for the poke check to turn an odd man rush the other way and missed it and Anderson was slow on the five hole. The second one was Anderson's fault for cheating off the post. Most players these days will bank it off the goalie and in from that angle. The third one was a screened shot from the top of the dot, Anderson had no chance of seeing it. Seemed like lucky breaks/bounces more so than skill.

I think it's just some Pens hate. It's cool. Good game to Motown tonight. Two more like that and Chi town is gone.

He has scored some impressive goals from time to time, but Friday it seemed more like lucky bounces. The goal he scored splitting the d in the Isles series was impressive.

Big win for Boston. Now up three games to none. It'll be tough for the Rangers to come back, but out of all the teams left the Rangers have the best chance of doing it. Anything is possible when you have Hanky in the net. Still a Bruins fan, but much respect for the Rangers team.

Oh Lord how can you be a hockey fan and say Crosby has scored some impressive goals from time to time? That's like saying Chara is kinda tall, that MacInnis shot was sort of hard and that Bobby Orr had a few ok end to end rushes. You gotta give credit where it's due if you are a true fan. I.hate Ovechkin and his completely selfish attitude and totally one dimensional play, but the dude is probably the best pure goal scorer in the game today with speed and size to boot. To say Ovie sucks is false, to say Crosby is only ok is equally as false.

It's going to be tough for the Rangers to come back. That's what happens when you don't have a PP unit that has a clue. Pierre was dead on last night about the Rangers PP. However, it does take 4 games to win a series.

If the Pens would just stay consistent they wouldn't have any issues with Ottawa. Good luck to them tonight. And good luck to Detroit tomorrow night; I want Chi town off the list.

Wow, I'm watching the Pens/Senators thru two periods. I see Ottawa give up the lead at the end of the 2nd, but it's only 3-2 Pens. I take a shower, and come back with 10 mins left in the 3rd to find the Pens up 6-2. WTF? I watched the replay for the Crosby goal, yeah, he's pretty darn good. Shut the set off, good bye Sens....

Hey the town sucks! I know, I live here. The only thing we have are the Steelers and Penguins. This town LIVES over these teams, Pirates not so much. Looks like another cup coming to town :nana:

I really hope Alfie comes back for one more year. He owes us nothing at this point, but he can still play and we have a heck of a young team.

The Sens should be proud of what they did this season. They lost 3 of their top players for huge chunks of the season and still made the playoffs. The Pens woke up after the Isles series.
Hopefully, the Rangers can prolong their series tomorrow. Let's Go Rangers!

As a Caps fan enjoying a stress free start to MY summer, I still have to be a Pens hater. So, if they win the cup, and it looks like they will, I'll just have to take solace in knowing it is tainted because of a strike year.....
Plus, I hear Ovies golf game is off to a great start.
