I hate to keep nit picking (I'm not a postmodernist so facts matter to me) but the Sydney Opera house is an example of expressionist architecture, which falls in the modern era, not the postmodern era.
If you want an example of postmodern architecture, here's one.

Accordingly, postmodern thought is broadly characterized by tendencies to self-referentiality, epistemological and moral relativism, pluralism, subjectivism, and irreverence.

Right. Tell that to Galileo.
That I do, Jesse, every day, believe me. Focused "artsish" application of "postmodern" notwithstanding, it doesn't apply across every board. At least I've never found it to be so IRL from the perspective of half an average person's lifetime as a supervisor/manager (both in *&* outside of academe).
We have this experience in common. Having made the mistake of co-founding a division at Warner Bros, I was placed in the position of being the managing artist and senior "creative", dealing with all of the fun of keeping "creatives" from eviscerating each other. I really should have just handed out the daggers and watched the show.
Postmodernism, postschmodernism. I've always considered it a suspect, if not completely bullshit, concept.

hey guys, straighten up and fly right. Keep to the topic. It's about long posts, and patriarchs, and asking the hard questions in life, like do we chose to believe things, and can we believe in a tree that is real, or can we only believe in made up stuff. Basically, anything you can believe in is made up by someone. Chose to believe in it, or not. I really don't care. Ha ha.

Do you roll a cubist cigar, or do you fold it? :puffy:

Matriarchs are typically in short supply on pipe forums. The Patriarchs run wild.

EDIT: Looks like they've got all the Matriarchs separated at the other table.

Here
A man showed me a photo and said, "This is a picture of me when I was younger."
I said, "Every picture of you is from when you were younger."

Ask Schrodinger's cat.
But... I can't help but wonder if Salted really meant "Forum Godfathers." That makes more sense to me.
That, or people with no life of their own.

Sorry, but postmodernists don't tolerate denial of postmodernism. You can't have your truth if it denies their truth. It's too judgemental and dare I say - patriarchal.
