mlaug: those are some nice pistols, let me know if you ever decide to sell the 1911 or the luger!
unclearthur: any tips on how to sharpen a knife? I thought about buying one of those sharpeners that chef's use, since it was so awesome on a kitchen set I used while on vacation - other than that, I just use my Spyderco knife sharpener, which does the job putting it together and taking it apart takes longer than the quick sharpening of a knife.
My own hobbies, I'm a car enthusiast, I probably won't buy another boy racer like this, my next car is probably going to be a wagon or something with two doors and no top.
I also enjoy detailing cars - here is my other car before I sold it, hard to capture on camera but you can see on the left side prior to detailing, it was quite dull - the right side I was able to bring a lot of the shine back.
Mountain biking - not only is it fun, it's a good way to get exercise, and once in a while you bump into hotties who are running/walking on the trails instead of biking them.
Music - not an audiophile or anything, I just love listening to music and I wish I could play instruments well. I enjoy Journey and 80's music the most.
I'm also a technogeek. I fix small electronics, like smashed iPhone screens etc. I'm also into building Hackintoshes for fun and modifying netbooks, like the one pictured below. I harvested some aluminum shims from an old heat sink and slapped them into my netbook - it made a world of difference in cooling compared to the old goopy stuff they had one before.
Video games - I'm a boy, got to have them.
Lastly, but probably not the last one ever - fine drinking. By this, I mean, I'm trying out all the things I can in bourbons, whiskey/whisky, scotch etc so I can differentiate between them all and find out what I like best. Currently: some Macallan 25, but for the other days I do love Maker's Mark, I also picked up a bottle of Maker's 46 but have yet to dive in.
