I also draw and paint with pastels. Here's a portrait I did of my wife a couple of months ago:

I try my hand at a lot of things. My wife's very supportive, no matter how off-the-wall or disconnected things seem. My daughter's into her second year of karate and her old man's trying to catch up!

Opera(just kidding)
Well, I use to dislike it until I saw this video clip of the great Pavoratti performing the most popular Opera song Nessum Dorma. Watch it to the end and catch the facial expressions.

Simon, it's nice to see another artist here. I do oil paintings.
Besides spending way to much time on the internet, I enjoy walking and cycling, weather permitting.
I'm not very musically gifted, but I occasionally try to play my clarinet.
I like photography, and I used to have a small darkroom for printing black and white photos the old fashioned way. Ah, the wonderful smell of photo chemistry!

Check out Eddie Daniels, a true virtuoso, classical and jazz equally as good.

And this one too: He reportedly practices 8-10 hours daily when not performing.

This is one unreal display of virtuosity.

Family and friends, riding my motorcycle, hunting, camping, fishing,

recreational shooting, watching mma, drinking real beer, and the occasional

partaking of a good Irish whiskey or scotch.

No pics on me right now, but I ride a red 2009 Kawasaki 900 Vulcan Classic. I enjoy the hell out of it, too. Wouldn't mind getting a bigger bike sometime down the road, but I'm happy with what I've got right now.

hobie, which Honda VFR 750 do you ride? I used to ride a V45 Sabre, it was kick ass bike with a rock solid motor right out the door. Now I am a scooter man. I used to help a friend race enduros and sprint karts when I was a kid! I've always thought they were the pinnacle of racing - fast enough to make you wet yourself, inexpensive enough for many to afford, and when good drivers are competing together, the racing is as good as it gets. My brother used to race Sprints at Gilberts in Illinois. He tried enduros and did great at it, it was just more travel than my parents wanted to do.

well, I've had 3 of them, the first one was a red 97

Last two were Pearl White 93 models.

But now the 97...I converted it over to use the Honda CBR600 F4i race bodywork, built a new rear subframe, undertail exhaust using a 1 1/2 lb Micron Titanium muffler, Piaa headlights built into the front intake scoops, and knocked off about 60lbs of weight off the bike. Now my son owns it.

Those white '93s are nice looking bikes. Back in the day, I thought Hondas were a little boring. However, next to all of the bikes the Japanese are selling these days, it looks like a million bucks. My goal is to find a clean 93-95 Kawasaki ZX7 and restore it to like-new condition. That was and continues to be my favorite. I had a 1989 Suzuki GSX-R 750 which was close, but no cigar.

Tried to edit my post to add the picture, but I was too slow, apparently.

This was taken of me with the bike at North Central Motorsports Park. Wringing it out on the quarter mile was lots of fun on those street-legal Friday nights.
