I wasn't familiar with the KBB "Lyon" shape. This one looks magnificent, but out of my reach.

Here is another unique piece, just listed as a BIN/Make Offer. This one is massive at 149 grams and over 10" in length. Features are a removable briar bowl in a carved(?) vulcanite stem.

Picked up this '38(?) Yello Bole recently. Unsmoked when it arrived... enjoying it greatly so far.

I just got the same lighter from ebay! Curious, how long is the flame on low, and on high? Mine goes from 2" on low to flamethrower hahaha.

@Randelli mine is the same way. Low has a very small flame. High turns it into a blowtorch. I bet I get a 2 inch or better flame.

Two interesting unsmoked Churchwardens sold earlier this morning by the same seller.

I have to wonder if the Flame Grain churchwarden has a flawed stinger. The seller seemed to understand the differences among the stinger styles and called this one a two-hole stinger.

I am getting a chuckle out of this EXTREMELY RARE PRE - KAYWOODIE pipe listed by Kapster. This pipe is neither pre-Kaywoodie, nor extremely rare. That he is not showing the line/shape code is telling. Also, the KB&B logo lacks the 1924-and-earlier ampersand, which was still in use when the Kaywoodie name first appeared on pipes. What is actually on offer is a pipe that was priced lower than Kaywoodie's entry-level Drinkless.

Ive seen a few listings from that guy that have thrown up red flags for me. Good catch and thanks for sharing.

I try to provide the odd public service when I can. While the seller may simply be honestly mistaken, shenanigans abound in the estate pipe market.

As a Kaywoodie collector, the Radio Show interview with Bill Feuerbach yielded a particularly key piece of information: Kaywoodie Handmades are available from wvsmokeshop.com. The year 2010 #01 Yacht Shape is now headed my way. Nobody did up the Yacht the way Kaywoodie did!

I saw that pipe at Parklane in Albany, NY. Because of their proximity to Kaywoodie, they also usually have a number of Handmades in their case. I also did just stumble across the WV shops listings, nice!

Added this KBB yello bole 2382 to my small but growing kaywoodie collection. I'm digging the triangle shank.

Edit : Hmm... looks like the image isn't showing up for some reason.

Regarding the 01, thanks fellas. The KBB Yacht has long been a personal favorite. I like it in the diminutive size it traditionally took, but this larger pipe kept the lines I love.
Jdhayes, the 82 is a great KBB shape, and yours looks like a nice example. Try this threadfor help with getting your photo to show here.
