Yeah the turkey bacon is definitely inferior to pork. I don't really understand the appeal anyway as bacon is not a particularly high calorie food on its own. Does the turkey version have less cholesterol maybe?

My understanding is that it's worse for you health wise than bacon. Just a marketing scheme in my opinion. Or maybe its good for people who have religous restrictions about pork.
A lot would depend on that. The turkey would have to be Kosher slaughtered and processed in a Kosher certified facility.
