    A Frog Question...

I agree with many people here. Go with Cellar.

Just saying hello! and a question!

I would say that if neither your pipe or your mouth are too hot, you're going at an ok speed! Enjoyment is the most important thing. How long do your smokes last, on average?

One Pipe - One Tobacco - One Island & YOU

My Vauen Wood pipe and all the Christmas Cheer I could smoke. You would have to hit me with enough tranquilizer to bring down a bull elephant to "rescue" me from that situation.

    Sharing Pipes

I will let some of my better friends have a sip if there's something they want to try, or I want them to try. But that's about as far as I will go.

    The Prospect Of Parenthood.

I'm about your age, I had my first daughter less than a year ago. It's probably futile but try not to be nervous. I was scared because I had virtually no experience with kids. You will be taught some things, other things will just click - the very little that is left you learn pretty fast once...

Smoke-Proofing a Room, Tobacco Suggestions, and My Return

Hello all. Some of you may remember me as I was active on the forum in late 2012-early 2013. I haven't had a lot of time for pipe smoking or forums as of late, as at the beginning of April I moved across the Atlantic from Germany to the USA to go back to school. Since I am living in a small...

Virginias: Now I See What All The Fuss Is About

I've been on a Virginia kick as of late as well. At first I wasn't a huge fan, I didn't dislike them but I thought they were a bit boring. When I moved to KC in April the first thing I did was buy some stuff from McClelland. 3 Virginias and one Frog Morton so far. Now it's like I don't want to...

I Think I Might be a Latakia Smoker

As someone else already stated, the Frog Morton series needs to be in your near future.

Am I a "Smoker?" Advice Please.

Thank you Roth - yes, everything panned out nicely... eventually

Am I a "Smoker?" Advice Please.

Insurance companies think that puffing a pipe makes you more susceptible to many health problems so they should get more money - in that case I should barely have to pay anything for exercising daily, eating healthily, proper hygiene and having an immune system like a tank! Actually I should get...

Is It The Look or The Smoking Property That Makes You Decide on a Pipe?

Smoking quality is definitely more important, but how often do you get to try a pipe before you buy it? I usually go from recommendations and past experiences, if I have liked something from that manufacturer before, or if the pipe has some quality leading me to believe that it will smoke well...

Help me choose a pipe for FM Cellar

The time for me to move has come! I am moving to the States tomorrow and I can't wait to try some of these blends that I hear wonderful things about. One of the main ones is Frog Morton Cellar. I hear it is an aromatic/latakia crossover blend. I Am somewhat prone to noticing the effects of...

    Your Least Expensive Pipe?

I wanted to post but I guess free pipes as gifts don't count ;)

100% Latakia Blend and Meerschaum Question

Peter Heinrich's is awesome. Is the blend you speak of the 211? That's the strongest one I have had from them. If you like aros you should give the Crue Pierre Henri series a try (I don't smoke a lot of aros, but these re just that good).

    Days You Won't Smoke?

I hope you don't mind me asking, why is one not allowed to start a fire on the sabbath?

    Smoking Willow Bark

I wouldn't have come up with this idea myself, but I can't say that I wouldn't try it.

    Days You Won't Smoke?

I'm a religious man, and some may not agree with me here, but it is my opinion that all days are sacred gifts. Whatever day today may be it is no different than tomorrow or yesterday, all of which are a miracle to be cherished, and one way I decide to celebrate the miracle of life is by smoking...

    $50 Pipe vs. $1000 Pipe

I'm no expert, I've never smoked a pipe that expensive, but from what I hear there is usually relatively little difference in terms of smokability. Expensive pipes probably have some kind of other value, maybe it has some gold rings or maybe it's handmade by someone prestigious, maybe it's an...

    Kansas City B&M?

Looks like I know what my first stop will be. I will live on the exact opposite side of the city but I don't mind making the drive for a good B&M. Thanks for the advice! Fnord - I will give you a yell when I am there - as long as you don't mind meeting up with a young, fairly novice pipe smoker...
