    Kansas City B&M?

Oh how the time flies, it's already close enough to moving time that I need to start thinking about where to buy my tobacco. I've done some searching online but the ones I've found are mostly for cigars. I'll like that too but I need my pipe. In Germany I have been a bit spoiled, all the B&Ms...

My Last Day Of Smoking For A Bit

I haven't had a pipe for one week today for the same reason (wisdom teeth removal). I hope yours goes better than mine. My bottom ones were growing horizontally under my gums so the surgeon had to pretty much mutilate my jaw to get them out. A week later and I can still barely eat solid food...

    A Sentimental Gift...

A short background story: My wife and I live in Germany and are moving to the US next month. In between our last living arrangements and moving we are living with her family, two parents and two younger brothers. The oldest younger brother just finished his education. A few months ago I noticed...

A Question for Parents of Little Kids...

I don't ever encourage anyone to start smoking. Even if it's significantly better than cigs, it is still unhealthy, especially if they start inhaling. But if they decide for themselves that it is something they would like to try, I will show the ropes without hesitation :)

    Customs: Tobacco Into the US

We are moving from Germany, so I don't think we will have a problem with movers so much as the TSA and maybe UPS. edit: How did you manage to ship thousands of pounds worldwide? I did that once, not even that much, and will never do it again. I just stopped buying junk that I didn't need, lol.

    Customs: Tobacco Into the US

The thing is, I'm not going to ship anything. Ha. I'm one of those guys who seldomly buys anything, so pretty much everything I need I can fit in 2 suitcases, less actually. Thanks for the link rothnh. I guess I will be storing the tobacco I have here for a few years.

Discovered Civil War Veteran Was Pipe Smoker

Pipe smoking was one of the only ways to smoke in that time. The first cigarette must have been around the same time, made by a French soldier whose pipe had broken so in desperation he rolled the tobacco in a piece of paper. I don't know about cigars but smoking cigs was first widespread about...

    Customs: Tobacco Into the US

Hello all. I am moving to the US at the beginning of next month. I don't have a huge stash by any means, but does anyone know how much tobacco one is allowed to bring over the US border?

    Having Fun With Small Pipes.

I like small to medium sized bowls. I guess I like everything in that proportion really. It's easier to decide how much you want!

    Public Vs. Private Smoking

I will smoke a pipe when I go for a walk or when I am waiting for a train. I gave up on taking it to the pub as there is always some drunken idiot who wants to talk to me about it for an hour and then want to try it.

    Finding Your Tobacco Preference

Maybe it's because I'm the type of guy that has to try everything once, but I loved searching for my tastes. I just went nuts buying different kinds of tobacco and always had something new to try. Awesome.

    Storeing Tobacco In Leather Pouches

I do it when I go out and want to bring a pipe. I wouldn't use it for long time storage but for a few hours it is nifty.

    Newest Pipe. First Uncoated Bowl

The only thing I personally do with new pipes is to smoke them more slowly, to avoid letting them get too hot. I never had as much luck with partial bowls, and no way am I letting honey go anywhere near my bowl.

    Getting Down With the Sickness

That is a real bummer. Hopefully it will be that much sweeter when you finally get to smoke again. Get well soon.
