Hello all.
I am moving to the US at the beginning of next month.
I don't have a huge stash by any means, but does anyone know how much tobacco one is allowed to bring over the US border?

The thing is, I'm not going to ship anything. Ha. I'm one of those guys who seldomly buys anything, so pretty much everything I need I can fit in 2 suitcases, less actually.
Thanks for the link rothnh. I guess I will be storing the tobacco I have here for a few years.

We are moving from Germany, so I don't think we will have a problem with movers so much as the TSA and maybe UPS.
edit: How did you manage to ship thousands of pounds worldwide? I did that once, not even that much, and will never do it again. I just stopped buying junk that I didn't need, lol.

I can only tell you when my in-laws moved to Canada, they had their containers sit in the harbor locked down by customs for 6 weeks and they were going through everything. I can hardly believe that U.S. customs would be more relaxed.
