    Vacuum Packing Tobacco

That's a strong endorsement coming from James James Bond. 😎 I was thinking about buying a pound of RLP-6. I doubt that's going away anytime in the next 20 years though so I've reconsidered.

    Vacuum Packing Tobacco

I have read (somewhere, where? Who knows.. ) that aging tobacco requires oxygen. From that I take that vacuum packing will retard the aging process. Maybe not stop it, but slow it. I also heard that some aromatics don't age well as the toppings degrade or fade. That leads to the question...

Show Off Your Herriot Pipes Here!

I emailed him this evening about a copy of his shop apple. I like that wood grain bit.

Ordering pipe tobacco online in Italy

Careful with the stuff that slides toward politics.... that's why I self-deleted my first comment. I wouldn't want to deprive you guys of my smart-assery. LOL

How to Smoke a Full Bowl Without Altering the Taste?

That's what I do, I rarely smoke the bottom third of the bowl.

    Double Filtered Pipe

For me as a beginner, I started with a 9mm pipe and got used to that draw. I got a cob at some point and felt like I was trying to smoke through a 24" drain pipe. It was way way more open and that required relearning how regulate my draw. I gave it away. I didn't need another variable along...

    Puccini..

Never tried it before. I've been steering clear of blends that have a reputation of a strong nic hit. I mainly bought it for a cigar smoking buddy but kept some of it to try myself. I also picked up a va/per. Haven't tried that one yet.

    Puccini..

Yea, I learned from my experience with Cobblestone Cafe Mocha Flake that the first experience isn't the final experience. Didn't care for it fresh, tried it again 6 months later and enjoyed it enough to buy another tin.

    Puccini..

Didn't think I would like it, but... This is the first tobacco that I rejected immediately. Didn't even get it lit completely before scraping it back out. LOL.. Definitely not for me. In the 11 months I've been playing around with pipes, I've not experienced anything that I would describe as...

    TAD Acquisitions 2025

I wasn't familiar with Mixture 79 so I looked it up on Tobacco Reviews.... The reviewers are not generally kind toward it. American Lakeland... soap... perfume counter blend... tastes like smoking a urinal cake one fellow said (how many bowls of urinal cake did he smoke during the analysis to...

    TAD Acquisitions 2025

Smoking pipes made a slight boo-boo on my order and instead of 1oz of the Lane LL-7, I got 8oz of Sutliff Mixture 79. They said "Oops, sorry about that, you can just keep it for your trouble." Not sure if Vanilla Burley will be my thing, but I certainly have plenty of it.

    TAD Acquisitions 2025

And interestingly enough, I dug it back out and really enjoyed it. I ordered another tin. 🤪 I apparently just need to wait for either the tin to age a little or my tastes to change a lot.

    Your best packing tobacco

Apparently I'm not the only one chopping their tobacco up so it gravity fills better.

"Ephemera are items which were not originally designed to be retained or preserved, but have been collected or retained." Does that mean there will be old tobacco and estate pipes present? LOL... I hate having to look up words that other people had to also look up to put on a poster. :ROFLMAO:
