Didn't think I would like it, but... This is the first tobacco that I rejected immediately. Didn't even get it lit completely before scraping it back out. LOL.. Definitely not for me. In the 11 months I've been playing around with pipes, I've not experienced anything that I would describe as tongue bite but I had a discomfort on my tongue during the lighting process that I wasn't going to explore any further. Rejected. Considered tossing it out immediately, but decided that just leaving it be didn't cost anything so there it sits. Will revisit this in several months.

do you like other dark fired kentucky blends? I enjoy this one but you'd really have to be a dfk fan imo

Probably a good thing to let it be for a while. Glad you didn't toss it out. Various blends and tobaccos can affect you differently given some time. For me, moving to KYs and Burleys was a bit of a system shock, but given a little patience time I really enjoy them now.

Finally! Saw the header and was elated to think the site was going to achieve the next level, improving everyone's level of taste in the arts! Opera! Disappointed to say the least. :sher:
"taste in the arts..." Surely you jest, Warren............... On this forum???
I got to visit Puccini's hope in Lucca, Italy once. It was humbling, to say the least.

Never tried it before. I've been steering clear of blends that have a reputation of a strong nic hit. I mainly bought it for a cigar smoking buddy but kept some of it to try myself. I also picked up a va/per. Haven't tried that one yet.
