    Cinnamon and Cloves?

You are supposed to smirk quietly to yourself. It's in the forum rules somewhere under the TAD section.

    Cinnamon and Cloves?

That's how I ended up with 20 different tobaccos. I didn't want them to get lonely during shipment.

    Cinnamon and Cloves?

That's like saying the sun is bright. Obvious. :ROFLMAO:

    A Thought; A Question

Off topic, If my pipe isn't making smoke, it is most definitely out. I can't maintain a wispy but still lit pipe. Wispy means almost out... get the lighter ready.

    Spotted...In The Wild!

Is that spotted in the wild, or spotted in a zoo?

    Spotted...In The Wild!

I do that too sometimes, usually at the urinal... "nice watch" I say. Sometimes they want to talk, sometimes they get a strange look on their faces and walk away.

    Barrel/Basket Pipe Prices

The one I had picked out was plainly a second or something too. The bit looked melted on one side.

    Barrel/Basket Pipe Prices

What would you consider a normal barrel pipe price? I was poking through my first barrel of pipes at a local pipe shop and had almost picked out that nose warmer I spoke about in the other thread until I realized that they were $70 each. I envisioned a barrel pipe as $20 or so.

    Cinnamon and Cloves?

Yea, I think I'm done with buying tobacco for a long while after the C&D GDoY comes out. I'll pick up a couple tins of it then I need to smoke what I have open which is about 20 varieties at this point. Years worth.

    Pipe Shape Preferences Over Time

Please read Rule 9 for title formation. Capitals! Has your pipe shape or style preference changed over time? Did the first pipe you buy end up being the last pipe you get out? The first pipe I bought in March was a big LOTR churchwarden. After smoking pipes I can clench (not nose warmers, but...

5 Months In, I Still Have No Idea How to Pack a Pipe

I just diced up some 1Q pretty small on a cutting board to try a gravity fill. Curly ribbons don't grav fill well, at least in my very limited experience. There's not a lot of cube cut out there. Most of it is flake, ribbon or plug/cake. That palm of your hand thing worked out fairly well...

5 Months In, I Still Have No Idea How to Pack a Pipe

I need a pre-packed plug that fits my bowl. Pop it out of the bubble pack like a pill, drop it in my bowl and light it. Might be better if it came pre-lit too. :ROFLMAO:

    Fishing

I never could stand watching a bobber. I liked crank baits so there was some casting and retrieving activity on my end and when they hit, they hit. No wondering if that was a bite or just bobbing in the wind. The most fun I had was with ultralight gear in creeks. Never took anything home...

80+ Tobacco Sampler; Help Develop My Palette

Unless you are a LOT faster at picking up on this pipe and tobacco thing than I am, I would suggest waiting for 10 years for your hobby to develop before doing this. I've been dabbling at this since March and you can still see the imprint of my butt on the front bench of the struggle bus. :ROFLMAO:

    Fishing

I completely understand that. I'm one of those that gets bored quickly if I'm not catching. A buddy of mine and I went night trout fishing. He was in one end of the boat reeling them in and I was sitting there with a sour look on my face. Same bait, same place, I just didn't have the feel...

    Fishing

I had a Zebco 33 as a kid. My dad had those open face spinner reels that I couldn't get the hang of till I was a little older. A story I heard about the inventor of that lure was that he was a very very religious man and he was so afraid of the devil that he didn't even want to write the...

    C&D Autumn Evening

I tried the straight virginias, but my pallet can't do anything with them. Too mellow and vague. I like flavors that leave a mark when they smack you. Think from there I'm going with a bowl of Pirate Kake.

    C&D Autumn Evening

I picked up some of this to try after seeing some good reviews. Smells strongly of maple in a good way. The first puff however was straight up cigarette. I'm going to try it again after some drying time. It didn't feel too damp so I skipped letting it air out some.

    Cinnamon and Cloves?

Seems like a lot of the European blends are called "Rauchen ist Tödlich". Doesn't that get confusing? ;)

    Cinnamon and Cloves?

C&D has a Christmas blend in the works. Keep an eye out for it. "Thank you for the email. As it turns out, we actually do have a Christmas spice blend called Golden Days of Yore, and this will be the Christmas blend on offer for this year. Featuring clove, cinnamon, allspice and star anise...
