Can't use credit cards to buy loose tobacco online?

Karl I don't think anybody knows for sure what is happening or what is going to happen, so I wouldn't expect too many concrete answers at this time. It sounds like all of the credit card companies are trying to crack down on any loose tobacco sales, period. So they seem to be trying to implement...

Confussed about bowl sizes and tobaccos

I smoke everything in the same sized pipe so I'm not much good to you. lol

What kind of Tobaccos are These?

instymp, they are all just classifications of different tobacco types. Different leaves cured in different ways have different flavours, that's all. If you don't particularly care which type they are, as long as you like them, then that's fine. I personally find the differences between them...

    Corn Cobs Questions

They are generally pretty hardy but I wouldn't doubt that one of those Chinese cobs would combust after the first smoke. They are supposed to be garbage. Most MM cobs will only act up if you do negligent things to them such as try to remove the stem while they are still hot or if you put undue...

First Impressions of GL Pease's Union Square

Still haven't tried it but I've heard nothing but good things. Thanks for the review.

SG Golden Glow or Dunhill Flake?

I know, I was mostly just referring to the fact I saw a few people say Dunhill Flake was grassy or citrusy. I think there is good to be found in most blends, even if I don't want to use up my time, money, or health to smoke them. ;)

What kind of Tobaccos are These?

They definitely have their fair share of PG. That is the main thing I have against them. They give me tongue bite/steam burn unless they've been sufficiently dried. (And that may take hours) Honestly, if I lived in a rural area in the US where it was $3-4 a pouch for PA or SWR I'd probably smoke...

SG Golden Glow or Dunhill Flake?

Dunhill it is. Perhaps another time for Golden Glow - I am still curious about it...

What kind of Tobaccos are These?

I have no problem calling a spade a spade but I see the value in these blends. I'd honestly be more inclined to mock aromatics but I know that there'd be a mob raised up to hunt me down... It's all good though, I just prefer to live and let live. Honestly, though, I don't know how much outright...

    Corn Cobs Questions

Believe it or not, this is not the first time I've heard of that. I saw a girl's video on YouTube where she claimed her cob did the same thing so she hated them... I can almost guarantee that neither of you were smoking MM cobs. If a real MM cob did that, I'd say they'd even send you a...

Words of Wisdom on "Bad" Habits and Health Concerns

Lankford, I think I side with your opinion on all this most of all. I have pondered the food that I eat, the air that I breathe, the water I drink, the products I use on my body, the plastics and chemicals I handle on a daily basis, the wounds I have received, the bacteria/viruses I may have...

SG Golden Glow or Dunhill Flake?

Ah well, you know how reviews can be - all over the place... I'm going to sleep on it for now! Thanks.

SG Golden Glow or Dunhill Flake?

Thanks roth. I don't know if this is accurate or not, but I get the impression that Golden Glow is grassier and that Dunhill Flake is a bit sweeter and more citrusy. Would you say these descriptions are accurate? I'm trying to get a golden VA and I've only got room for one. I'm partial to Sam...

Words of Wisdom on "Bad" Habits and Health Concerns

Well I find the closer I get to authority of any kind the more worried I get, it is most definitely not limited to the health care field!

What kind of Tobaccos are These?

Greg, the biggest difference I hear about OTC tobaccos in general when we discuss the variation between pouch and tub is that the tubs usually contain less moisture/humectant overall because they maintain freshness better. That may lead to some improved flavour. (I don't know this firsthand...

SG Golden Glow or Dunhill Flake?

If you had to pick between both blends, which would you choose, and why? Samuel Gawith Golden Glow or Dunhill Flake? (Or am I wrong to compare the two in the same sentence?)

Words of Wisdom on "Bad" Habits and Health Concerns

That's the whole trouble - there's no way to know which group you belong to - its the luck of the genetic draw... You can change your habits in an attempt to work the odds in your favour, but there may be another card up the dealer's sleeve that you aren't expecting...

What kind of Tobaccos are These?

They are different branches of the same tree. As others have indicated, they are old time burleys. Fairly straightforward and simple flavours, but reliable performers in their own right. Do you ask because you smoke these or because you are curious about them?

Can't use credit cards to buy loose tobacco online?

I guess it remains to be seen if there is actually collusion between the credit card companies to ban the use of credit/debit cards for online tobacco sales a la Great Britain. So far it is still very ambiguous and it is not clear at all what the rules are, who they apply to, who is enforcing...

    A pipesmagazine.com blend?

I mean it is a cool premise and other groups do it but the commercial nature of this site makes it a different ballgame.
