Nicotine Tolerance

Does any body else do this?
Don't forget that its not just about having a jar that is scent free, its also about having a jar that provides proper storage conditions. If you go through your tobacco fast it might be alright, but keep in mind that those jars are not meant to provide much of a seal... In my opinion, it sounds...- sparroa

Ashy Taste
Upon occasion, I used to get an extremely ashy taste from latakia. I used to blame it on my pipes but even after they were cleaned thoroughly I still had a problem. I'm now more inclined to believe that it has to do with tobacco moisture AND problems with my own tastebuds...- sparroa

Some countries are leaning towards generic packaging with just the name of the product to differentiate between brands. Minimize Pipe Aftereffects
I think that untreated burley smoke might be alkaline but they are usually cased to reduce the PH. I find a somewhat caustic mouth reaction to some burleys so there may still be an issue there... I don't like coffee as a companion to smoke, but I do love it before or after smoking, depending...- sparroa
